We didn't add AI to our courses. We rebuilt our courses around AI.

For nineteen years, we have taught business professionals to work with data. We've watched the tools change - from Excel macros to Power Pivot, from on-premise SQL to Microsoft Fabric, from static reports to interactive dashboards. Through every shift, our promise stayed the same: we teach the tools the way they're actually used at work, not the way they're packaged on a feature page.

Then, in late 2024, the tools changed in a way no previous shift prepared us for. Copilot arrived in Excel. Then in Power BI. Then in Power Apps, Power Automate, the entire Power Platform. We could have done what most training companies did. Bolt AI on as an appendix. Add a "module 11: Introduction to Copilot" at the end of every course. Print "AI-ready" on the brochure and call it done.

Why this chapter, and why now.

I spent the better part of 2025 in classrooms - listening. Not teaching. Listening to what learners were asking, what they were quietly struggling with, what they were trying to figure out on their own at midnight before the Monday standup.
